Challenge: Create a Form Element

Link to the challenge:

You should have left input that was already there. You need that to pass.

Hi, I got the same issue. Dont know whats wrong:
Actual Code:

Click here to view more cat photos.

A cute orange cat lying on its back.

Things cats love:

  • cat nip
  • laser pointers
  • lasagna

Top 3 things cats hate:

  1. flea treatment
  2. thunder
  3. other cats

Browser information:
[Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:86.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/86.0]

The input tag is nested in the form as requested. But it keeps saying
" The existing input element should be nested within a form element."

I do not know what I am doing incorrectly. Thanks.

@albertoboschinicr, what was recommended above would correct your issue if it was the same.
If you are still having an issue, instead of posting to a topic that may already be resolved you should;

If you have a question about a specific challenge as it relates to your written code for that challenge, just click the Ask for Help button located on the challenge. It will create a new topic with all code you have written and include a link to the challenge also. You will still be able to ask any questions in the post before submitting it to the forum.

Thank you.

You guys! I figured it out!

but here’s the thing, I had an extra “>” somewhere above, idk how. But i read through the whole thing and caught it. LOL
