Challenge: Step 42

Link to the challenge:

attributes go inside the opening tag, and you should keep the text between the tags as “Submit”

I’ve tried that too, it’s not working still.

what’s your code now?

<button> type ="submit">submit</button>

This is the code.

It is still not inside the opening tag, the opening tag starts with < and ends with >, so it is this one

The button text should be “Submit”; with an upper case S

type ="submit"<button>Submit</button>
So the code should look like this instead.?

this is still the opening tag

the attributes go inside the opening tag

<elementName attribute="value">

I am sure it’s not the first time you add an attribute to an element

Wow… This is difficult, I’ve tried that before too.

Thank you very much, I was able to do it.
