Survey Form - Build a Survey Form

Describe your issue in detail here.
Hello all, please excuse me, I’m new to coding. I am trying to finish building the survey form but I keep running into the same two failures:

  • You should have an input or button element with an id of submit.

  • Your #submit should have a type of submit.

It looks correct to me and I have even changed browsers to no avail…

Challenge: Survey Form - Build a Survey Form

Link to the challenge:

First, the input element is a self-closing element so it shouldn’t have a closing </input> tag.

Your main issue here is that you have given more than one element the id of submit. You can’t do that. In HTML every id needs to be unique. So only the submit button should have the id of submit.

Thank you, this was my issue.
