Survey Form - Build a Survey Form

Tell us what’s happening:

Im trying to pass this test position and am constantly getting stuck here on this one last item. I have read thru all of my checkboxes multiple times and they do in fact all have a value so Im not sure exactly what I’m missing.

// running tests
All your checkboxes inside #survey-form should have a value attribute and value.
// tests completed

Challenge: Survey Form - Build a Survey Form

Link to the challenge:

You’ve got a typo in one of your value attributes for your checkboxes. Perhaps look at them through the inspector in the dev tools. Or run your HTML through a validator.

You have a tiny syntax error…not sure how much of a clue I should give you since this is a required project for the certification. What editor are you using to write your code? I loaded your code into Visual Studio Code it saw your error immediately…

I did end up finding the value"=Additional-Courses" typo but it is still giving me the error

I appreciate the not wanting to just give me the answer.

I am just using the editor in fCC.

I fixed that typo and it passed for me. Did you make other changes as well? Is so, I think you’ll need to paste your updated HTML in here so we can see what you did.

I would highly recommend writing your code in a different program and then just pasting it into fcc. I’ve tried a couple of editors now and, from a beginners perspective, I’m pretty pleased with Visual Studio Code thus far. It’s completely free. Once you start using something like that you won’t write anything in fcc again, if you can avoid it.

Not that I don’t appreciate fcc…they’re awesome…just saying, get Visual Studio Code… :grin:

only other changes was changing the “N” in “Name” back to lowercase but I did end up just saving it. closing my tab then logging back in and it passed .

I appreciate the help. Probably wanted too much time looking for that lol
