To begin with, I had someone mention this to me while I was struggling with one of the other challenges. I also have some other suggestions.
- Start with the bare bones HTML. Make sure that you fulfill all of the HTML user stories first, this way you aren’t stumbling through the details when the frame hasn’t even been completed yet. Believe me, its sooo much easier to handle these challenges when you focus on the simple side first.
- Speaking of simple, try to keep your Technical Doc’s subject simple. Don’t over complicate things for yourself when you don’t have to. (I know, its hard. If your a creative person like me it can be difficult to not run away with these elaborate plans and ideas. But its not impossible to keep it in check.)
- If your the type of person who struggles to write clearly in an instruction manual/essay format or to write at all, try having a family member, friend, or roommate type while you dictate. This allows for you to work out your thoughts out loud, which can be very helpful.
That’s all I’ve got for now, if I think of or find out anything else that may be helpful for anyone trying to complete these challenges, I’ll make sure to post it here.
In the meantime, God Bless and happy coding!
