The name of a bracket feature where it turns blue when i click in browser

Anyone know what the feature is in brackets where when I click on the browser it turns blue and it automatic goes to where that is in bracket. I need to know the name of the feature because it’s bugging for me where sometimes the feature just dosent work and when i click on the text its black and i have to restart bracket and restart website it just pisses me of.

So does anyone know the name of the feature where things turns blue and go where that is written in text editor

Not sure what you’re saying. Are you talking about the feature that, when you click on a link, the link text turns a different color to show you that one has already been followed? Those are called “link styles”, and here’s a great article on them.

Now, if the site itself replaces those styles (by using a:visited or a:hover, for example), then the behavior may not be what you expect.

I haven’t use brackets in a long time. But it sounds like the Inline Editors feature. I should say the Live Preview is known to be a bit buggy.

The future In action

You don’t have to post the same thing three times.

The blue highlight is called “Live Preview Highlight”, you can toggle it using Ctrl + Shift + C. It is under the View menu. Maybe toggling it on and off might help fix when it isn’t working.

I don’t use Brackets so I can’t really help you. Also, i wouldn’t be surprised if the feature is just buggy.

Hi, I’ve edited your post to change “future” to “feature” — apologies for doing that, but the post didn’t make sense. Thank you for understanding.
