The style and color are not responding

Tell us what’s happening:
I am following the instructions which are " Change your h2 element’s style so that its text color is red." with this hint “<h2 style="color: blue;">CatPhotoApp</h2>”.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong or if there is something I should fix on my computer to make it more responsive to this site. I would appreciate any insight. Thank you.

Challenge: Change the Color of Text

Link to the challenge:

Please post all of the code not the page output.

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).

look where the attribute is

you instead wrote it outside the h2 opening tag, so it doesn’t work

Thank you. It worked.
