Disclaimers:
I think this question is appropriate for the forum and this sub-forum is the appropriate one, however feel free to let me know, if not. If this question has been answered or essentially answered before, feel free to point me to the right thread(s) but I decided to not trying to search for all various titles this type of thread could be given.
It will essentially become clear later but by traditionally programming/software I am using the term very broadly basically to describe at least a large cross section of programming languages/software around for many years (lets say at least 10 to pluck a number from air) and broadly similar to how they were then or at least the part that are. In other words to bring up the elephant in the room the non-ai related changes. For example I think some would consider object orientated programming not traditional that is not the sort of thing I am talking about here.
Main post
Someone I will describe here vaguely as someone who works for a careers service, Suggested the likes of python, html and (likely stepping out of remit of the forum) advanced excel have little role in the modern and future working world and instead pointed to a ai influenced programming language, I cannot remember the name of and co-pilot as examples what is used. To be clear he did describe himself as someone worked in computing (hopefully using a generic term here do not remember what term he used) until taking up his current job, I think he said about five years ago.
I am intrigued to know what those on this forum have to say this, I suspect many can give a well reasoned counterargument. I know this forum could probably be seen as biased on this but that does mean you what you say is valid.
