I am a final year student in B Tech graduating this summer.I know basics of java and no hand on development part as of yet,Can someone advice me how should I design my path for landing a decent job out of this situation.

I would say now that you a basic understanding of java your best bet would be go into android development, try and learn some android studio while learning your java, the reason i tell you this is because java is a hard job to get into as a first job, there’s not many junior java jobs other than android development out there, java is a heavy language and well paid if you do i right , so i would go android if i were you.
