Tribute Page (Ada Lovelace) improved - which one do you like better?

Hi, I worked on my tribute page. I am wondering, which version do you like better?

In the first version I just had a simple dark greyish background (#333), like so:

Now I changed the background to linear-gradient and added some box-shadows. Here is the link:

Just curious, which version do you prefer?
