Tribute Page (Alan Turing) feedback welcomed

Hello everybody, I’m new to the forum and to freeCodeCamp. I’m also somewhat new to HTML and CSS and I’ve done all the tests from the first course on that subject. Now I’m starting with the projects and I wanted to receive some feedback about my Tribute Page Projet before posting it. I have passed all the tests given for the project, now I would like aditional advice on html structure or styling that can help further my knowledge and abilities. Thank you very much!

Welcome to the forums @germankousal. Your page looks good. Something to revisit;

  • Keep all your styling external. Do not use in-line styling.

Thank you Roma! I think you mean setting the width and height attribue for the <img> tag? Would that be considered styling (even though I didn’t use the style attribute to do it)?

I did it to reserve space for the image while the page is loading. Would setting it’s width and height via CSS would have the same effect?

Anyway I think it’s styling too, and should go into CSS, thanks for noting this out!

PD: I tried this out and as far as I can tell it has the same styling effect…
