First of all, try using some unique fonts like you can import some google fonts in your pen by using, for instance,
paste a link like given below in on the header of your css editor
It will make your page look better
Secondly, change your background because it is not looking good. You can find lots of background in http://cdn.backgroundhost.com/. again you can do it by importing it in your page
