Tribute Page for my Dad

Completely different style than most. Perhaps I did not understand the assignment. Anyway let me know what you think. I might need to do it over but, practice is kinda the point. Thanks.

@sixfootpeter Great work so far! Simple and to the point. I think the picture at the top along with the corresponding story work well.

Here are some suggestions for improvement:

For valid HTML, you’ll want to look at the Doctype and the Head and Body sections of FCC Beta. All HTML markup should have these elements.

Paste your HTML into this HTML validator. This will help you find some of the errors in your HTML markup.

Your <img> element needs to have an alt attribute. This element is technically incorrect without an alt attribute. Alt attributes are also very helpful for people who use screen readers. Here’s a wonderful resource where you can learn more about the importance of alt attributes.

You CSS looks good.

I don’t think <q> is a valid HTML element, but I could be wrong. Do you have a source that describes this element?

Those are the big things I can see. Great work!

This is the best kind of tribute, one that mean something. He is a hero for his sacrifice which saved many other officers lives.

I feeling like their is too much padding around the sides. Seems too centered in the middle.

Overall 10/10
