Trying clip-path: is there a perfect way to do it?

Hi,

I’m currently trying to make some button expanding with by using clip-path (https://codepen.io/johnthecoder/pen/LwbdMJ).

In my exemple, i wanted to have a proper circle around the github logo so i tried many values before getting the good one wich is 26px and i’m not really sure that it’s perfect.

During my experimentation i’ve been wondering if there is a proper way to do it or i should be patient and try again and again until it satisfies me ?

Have you tried Clippy the clip-path tool.

Yes, i tried but it didn’t satisfies me.
