I’m just curious, in this exercise, the href is set to “#”, which means it doesnt go anyplace…but aren’t links supposed to go someplace? So technically, if I were creating an actual link, I would need to put the url for the link in the href portion? Is this correct?

   **Your code so far**

<h2>CatPhotoApp</h2>
<main>
 <p>Click here to view more <a href="#">cat photos</a>.</p>

<a href="#"> <img src="https://www.bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."></a>

 <p>Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>
 <p>Purr jump eat the grass rip the couch scratched sunbathe, shed everywhere rip the couch sleep in the sink fluffy fur catnip scratched.</p>
</main>

Hi @ilykesuga !

Welcome to the forum!

If you were creating an actual website then yes your links should go somewhere.

But since this is an exercise, that is why FCC is using a dead link.
