Twitch Api /channel/ & /streams/ help

When i use "https://wind-bow.gomix.me/twitch-api/channels/" +streamers[i]+"?callback=?"; i get everyone as online and everyone streaming,

yet when i use "https://wind-bow.gomix.me/twitch-api/streams/" +streamers[i]+"?callback=?"; i get one person as online and streaming. I really never used twitch, so why does it list a game and broadcasting language if they aren’t streaming?

Does anyone know why this is happening?

I am using these links and they are working as of now:

var jsonLink = "https://cors-anywhere.herokuapp.com/https://wind-bow.gomix.me/twitch-api";
var channels = ["ESL_SC2", "OgamingSC2", "cretetion", "freecodecamp", "storbeck", "habathcx", "RobotCaleb", "noobs2ninjas", "comster404", "clickerheroesbot"];
channels.forEach(function (channel) {
            $.getJSON(jsonLink + "/streams/" + channel + "/", function (data) {
                if (data.stream === null) //and the rest goes here

and for channels:

$.getJSON(jsonLink + "/channels/" + channel + "/", function (data) {
            if (data.status === '404')

Yeah but why does /channel/ show them as on a game, yet when i use /streams/ only one is appeared using a game?

#5

when it comes to twitch. It always shows the last game being played and status. So the channel will always show the last game that was streamed. Shouldnt show always online though. The stream will show if online and what game is currently streaming.

#6

So should i just use the /streams/ and use /channel/ for finding out channel logo,etc?

#7

you know that site is Deprecated right?

#8

I still get a response when i call it?

Whats the correct api then?
