TypeError: navigator.serviceWorker is undefined

When starting a new step in Python exercises, the console shows the following error:

TypeError: navigator.serviceWorker is undefined

I am not able to submit the step.

I got the error only in Firefox, but not in a chromium based browser.
JavaScript based courses worked fine in Firefox.

Which step is it?

I’ve never had this problem with Firefox. I see you’ve looked into extensions, maybe another extension blocking it?

Firefox version and OS?

Do you use VPN?

I assumed you’ve done other steps before this one that worked?

Which step is it?

All of them, the other steps were done in Edge.

Disabling every addon did not solve the problem described.
Without addons submitting steps works only after force reloading the website.

Maybe try clearing your cache files?

Did not help, a fresh Firefox profile did.
Thank you. Now I know it’s my profile’s configuration.

In Firefox, Service Worker APIs are hidden and cannot be used when the user is in private browsing mode, or when history is disabled, or if cookies are cleared when Firefox is closed.
