My email address is changing and I am unable to update it on my profile. Its telling me it is already associated with another account. That other account was me signing in with the new email address when I should have still been signing in with my old email address until I updated it in the profile. Can someone help me switch my account over to my new email address?

Your account is linked to your email. So, if you plan to use a new email address, and want to keep the same freeCodeCamp account, you need to go to your settings and change your email address.
So, I suggest logging into freeCodeCamp with your old email address, then doing the above.
other than the suggestion above, first delete the account linked to your new email address, then go change the email address of your old account
