Underline not working

The question was to Wrap the u tag only around the text Ph.D. students .
I added underline tags but it is still showing that The u tag should wrap around the text Ph.D. students. I tried many times but its not working.

The issue is right here:

Try adding a space after D.
So it would be Ph.D. students
