I am a 2024 graduate with Bachelor of technology with Comp Science and Engineering.
I did not study at all and do no have good level of skills.
build project but just for marks.
What should I do now to get a job?
My family is angry as I am sitting idle for the last year.
(I know python and have interest in AI/ML/Gen-AI)

It sounds like you need to make up for all that time that you didn’t spend studying. Go back and study the material from your courses for real this time. Build projects, but NOT for marks. Build them with the goal of making something good. It might take another year or more, depending on how far behind you really are on your skills, so you might need to find other work in the mean time to support yourself and help your relationship with your family.

Welcome and sorry that you are stuck.
Before going on, you should ask yourself if tech/CS is the right choice, or if you wouldn’t be happier in another career. There must be a reason why you weren’t really invested in your studies.
At least you have a degree, so it’s not because you aren’t smart enough or can’t achieve your goals. The degree is a great basis for finding another career path.
If CS-based jobs is really what you want to work in, then give it your best, of course.

I got a job offer by the campus placement team . But its been 8 months since I got the offer letter. About 51 students of our university got the job in the same company, and only 8 of them have received the joining date till now.
I don’t know if I should wait for the joining date while applying for new jobs, or start preparing for my Masters competitive exam…
That’s outrageous that they are keeping you dangling. I think you should look at other options . 8 months is too long to wait for a supposed job offer. That’s more like a reserve list.
