Is the website actively being updated? I had made some progress on the Scientific Computing with Python course yesterday but I see that it has changed today… Will there be any more major changes to the website? I don’t want to have to redo my progress all over again.
Always! This is the seventh major version of freeCodeCamp.
You never have to. If you would like to continue following the video courses, the old course is at the bottom of freeCodeCamp.org/learn. The projects for the Python course are the same, but the new material is an interactive in-browser sequence instead of a video course. You’re welcome to use any parts you like of the two course options.

This version is definitely more helpful but I was just curious on what happens to my progress on the previous one - thank you!
As long as you don’t disapear for a couple of years, you’re good. The “legacy” material stays up long enough for all moderately-active users to finish it. Certificates are always on your profile forever.
