URL Shortener Using Invalid Links for Testing

Not sure if I am misunderstanding something but it seems the tests for the URL shortener project use invalid links e.g. the link below is not found but the test requires this to be valid to continue.

The DNS lookup recommended and also the url-exists tool dont recognise this link.

The rules of the challenge also say valid links should have this format “http(s)://www.example.com(/more/routes)”, which the link above doesnt meet also.

I’ve bastardised my solution so the test passes but it would be good if this is fixed.

See this thread. There is some discussion of processing a link before trying a DNS lookup for validation.

If this link is actually in the test, you have found a bug because I get a Not Found error when I follow the link, but if I change it to this, I get the intended timestamp.
