Use the reduce Method to Analyze Data A question here

Tell us what’s happening:

I have two answers to this challenge, the first one (the one that is not commented) worked well for me, there are no problems there. But my second answer (the one that is commented) does not work, ie, what I observe is that the values are not stored in the averageRating variable. What appears in the console is "[object Object][object Object][object Object][object Object]". Using the tool http://pythontutor.com/javascript.html#mode=display I observed that everything is “fine”, I return the values that should but are not stored. The averageRating variable never stops being undefined.

I appreciate your help.

Challenge: Use the reduce Method to Analyze Data

Link to the challenge:

Callback function in filter method expects you to return boolean value, so if you need all movies of Christopher Nolan you would do:

(movie) => movie.Director === 'Christopher Nolan';

then when you have only his movies you can try to reduce them to get average score
