I’m currently developing a non-profit, ad-free mobile app designed to help beginners follow a structured roadmap for learning to code.
I want to make sure I’m doing things the right way. I plan to feature some of freeCodeCamp’s amazing YouTube tutorials (like the 10-hour full courses) by embedding them using the official YouTube API.
My plan includes:
Ensuring all views and ad revenue go directly to freeCodeCamp.
Providing direct links to the freeCodeCamp YouTube channel and donation page.
Adding extra features like progress tracking and notes to help students stay consistent.
Since this is a completely free project with no monetization, I wanted to check if there are any specific licensing rules I should be aware of or if there is a specific way the team prefers to be credited.
