Challenge: Use the value attribute with Radio Buttons and Checkboxes

Link to the challenge:
https://www.freecodecamp.org/learn/responsive-web-design/basic-html-and-html5/use-the-value-attribute-with-radio-buttons-and-checkboxes

The instructions tell you add a value attribute to each radio and checkbox input. You have only added a value attribute to two inputs that for some reason you have given a type of label text. There is no such type. These should be given a type of radio. Make sure to review the example code in the challenge description for reference.

<input type="text" placeholder="cat photo URL" required>
    <label for="indoor">
 <input id="indoor" value="indoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor">Indoor</label>
      <label for="outdoor">
        <input id="outdoor" value="Outdoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor">Outdoor</label>

The code is still not running

What tests are you failing? What is the full code you are trying?

To enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard. The “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) will also add backticks around text.

Note: Backticks are not single quotes.

markdown_Forums

 <label for="indoor">
 <input id="indoor" value="indoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor">Indoor</label> "outdoor">
  <input id="o
 <label for=utdoor" value="Outdoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor">Outdoor</label>

does that code make any sense to you ?

you need to use backticks around your code to make it visible, otherwise no one can see it

I went ahead and fixed it, please next time make sure your code is visible yourself

you have various broken tags, those will make that code not work as you want

you seriously just need to add the value attributes inside the opening tag of each element. value="something"
be sure to add the value attribute in lower case
