Want Internships remotely

Hello everyone, this is my first post in the fcc forum.

I am quite lost and underconfident, I learnt web dev for 3+ years, I should have made it faster but I am already in my final sem, doing BCA from a tier 2 college and that too online. So the chances for placements are almost 0 here, they do not provide it for online students. I need to look for internships and job off campus. I practiced through small and big projects, following a udemy course as well, recently I completed a big backend project with the help of course, the catch is ‘it was not completed in tutorial’, so I spent many days to complete it on my own (and ofc with a lot of internet searches) so it did teach me a lot! I did all the testing of routes myself. I want internships now, but have not updated my linkedIn , I suck at networking as well. If anyone could guide me or give some suggestions as how to start as a noob to apply for internships, I would be grateful!

Welcome to the forum @CodesEngy

Talk to the career advisors at your college. Write down what sort of job you want to do and where you want to be in five years time.

A lot of people are applying for internships so you really need to use the side door (by networking and referrals) to increase your chances.

Update your LinkedIn project, show case your projects, and leave comments and post about the things you have done.

Go to job fairs and visit the websites of potential employers (search their jobs and careers section).

Happy coding

Thank you for the suggestions! Actually it is not possible for the college advisor option, there is a lot of issues being an online student, the case would be different if I was attending offline. I wanna ask about the real job market scenario, how much effort I need to make to get a legit internship online? Will definitely consider the rest of advices you gave!
