For the past week, I have been dealing with a weird issue relating the preview/console panels. For some odd reason, there is a huge empty block on the right side that prevents me from resizing my preview/console panel to fit into that empty space. Could someone help me find a solution.

You can try resetting the editor layout - there’s option for that in the settings - Reset the editor layout to its default state.
