Welcome to the freeCodeCamp forum. Take a moment to introduce yourself here. :)

Hello! :waving_hand:

I am from Agartala, Tripura, India. I like to play video games and recently I have been trying to learn coding. In the quest of learning JavaScript I got to know about freeCodeCamp. I have been using the resources here for more than 6months now I guess, and it has been very helpful. Currently I am completing the Certified Full Stack Developer Curriculum. I finished the Responsive Web Design Certification and nearly done with the JavaScript Certification.

The environment in the forum is great and helpful! Sometimes I try to answer the questions posted by fellow learners, to sharpen my skills in debugging. So, my answers might not work sometimes!

Wishing everybody a good time.

Thank you.

Welcome. Your responses to others have been very helpful.

Hello everyone !

I’m from Rennes, France and I’m trying to learn coding for fun (I’m only 13, I am not allowed to work so …). I started Python first because I’ve been told “This is the best to start”, “This is very easy”, etc. I watched some videos, tried other sites like GeeksForGeeks and others but it felt boring and complicated.

And then I found freeCodeCamp. This has been a huge change! I had found an intuitive, easy and fun to learn coding and a huge community that I feel I’m a part of. I am still learning Python, but I have a much better level and my feeling with code is changed forever : it was “coding is for making something else (so coding is just a step, it’s boring)” to “coding is fun !” and this is all because of freeCodeCamp. I thank everyone who works here, fix bugs and help people because without you my life would be really different.

Thanks for reading my message, have fun coding !

EDIT : when I say GeeksforGeeks felt boring, I ment the learning interface, otherwise the content in it is really interesting.
