Welcome to the freeCodeCamp forum. Take a moment to introduce yourself here. :)

Hello! :waving_hand:

I am from Agartala, Tripura, India. I like to play video games and recently I have been trying to learn coding. In the quest of learning JavaScript I got to know about freeCodeCamp. I have been using the resources here for more than 6months now I guess, and it has been very helpful. Currently I am completing the Certified Full Stack Developer Curriculum. I finished the Responsive Web Design Certification and nearly done with the JavaScript Certification.

The environment in the forum is great and helpful! Sometimes I try to answer the questions posted by fellow learners, to sharpen my skills in debugging. So, my answers might not work sometimes!

Wishing everybody a good time.

Thank you.

Welcome. Your responses to others have been very helpful.

Hello everyone !

I’m from Rennes, France and I’m trying to learn coding for fun (I am not allowed to work so …). I started Python first because I’ve been told “This is the best to start”, “This is very easy”, etc. I watched some videos, tried other sites like GeeksForGeeks and others but it felt boring and complicated.

And then I found freeCodeCamp. This has been a huge change! I had found an intuitive, easy and fun to learn coding and a huge community that I feel I’m a part of. I am still learning Python, but I have a much better level and my feeling with code is changed forever : it was “coding is for making something else (so coding is just a step, it’s boring)” to “coding is fun !” and this is all because of freeCodeCamp. I thank everyone who works here, fix bugs and help people because without you my life would be really different.

Thanks for reading my message, have fun coding !

EDIT : when I say GeeksforGeeks felt boring, I ment the learning interface, otherwise the content in it is really interesting.

Hello everyone. I have always been interested in technology especially computer related. Decided to code since most of the jobs require it. Thanks

Hi from Raja | Full-Stack Dev & Meta-Learning Enthusiast

Hey everyone! I’m Raja. I’ve been coding for about a year and currently work across the Rails and JS/TypeScript ecosystems, with a deep interest in Rust and 3D Web (Three.js).

What I’m working on: I’m currently focused on the intersection of performance and UX—building scalable systems that feel instant. I’m also a memory athlete (6 years experience) and love applying cognitive systems like the Method of Loci to engineering problems.

Why I’m here: I joined to share what I’m learning and, more importantly, to help others. I’ve found that teaching is the best way to master a new stack. If you’re struggling with Rails architecture, Neovim configs, or memory techniques to help internalize documentation, feel free to reach out.

Looking forward to building together!

Hello everyone, I’m Gachau from Kenya and I’m interested in pursuing the full-stack web development pathway. I started with HTML & CSS some years back but somehow abandoned that curriculum halfway. Now that I’m back to fCC and currently studying Python, after completing this curriculum, I will definitely resume the past path that I had abandoned.

Hi, this the first place am seeing how to ask good question. Seems Frst impression is the best one. am not sure am going to ask but am here to learn.

Hello guys,
I’m Uwem(WeMoren) from Nigeria. I’ve been learning frontend development on FreeCodeCamp since late 2024. And my primary goal has been to become a Fullstack Web Developer.

I got into coding because I enjoy building things and solving problems, especially on the web. It’s been really interesting seeing ideas come to life with codes. So far, I’ve been working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and I’ve built a few projects with react, like a coutdown timer(for time management), a movie library and a Metabnb clone(If you would like to check them out, just let me know ). Still learning everyday and improving step by step, by teaching others, which actually, certainly deepens my understanding.

Most presently, I’m learning Relational Database - learn bash by building a boiler plate.

I really appreciate my boss, Quincy Larson for such selfless move, in making this free learning opportunity available to everyone.

Looking forward to learning with you all and growing together:grinning_face:.

Hey everyone,

I’m currently working as a QA Analyst, focused on ensuring product quality across web and mobile applications. Most of my day revolves around understanding user flows, identifying edge cases, and making sure what we ship actually works for real users—not just in ideal conditions.

Hello, This is Lucy Lee.
I’m a Unity Game Developer and Full Stack Developer with experience building interactive games and scalable web applications. I enjoy solving complex problems, whether it’s gameplay systems in Unity or backend architecture for modern web apps. I focus on writing clean, maintainable code and delivering practical solutions that work in real-world projects.

Yello :yellow_heart:

My name is Jessica Davies, a 22-year-old British/Welsh front-end website developer looking to dive more into backend development and improve my skills here. If you count Scratch as programming, I’ve been programming since I was 11, if not, I think I was 12 when I started learning Python & Batch.

I really love the design part of website design, but I also like data analysis & working with databases back in my BSc course, so I’d say those are the main reasons why I learnt to code, as well as feeling achieved from creating something that helps me solve a problem.

I used to heavily rely on YouTube tutorials in my teens learning to code, but I’ve always preferred hands-on practical methods for learning, so as soon as I found FreeCodeCamp and its style of teaching, I was HOOKED.

(Also I only just found out they’re developing spoken language courses and it prompted me to learn Spanish, lol)

Hope y’all have a great day! :yellow_heart:

That’s great, I’m an aspiring software engineer here too from freecodecamp too

thanks please, its great having this course to expand our career

Hi I’M Prince Walker Antwi from Ghana I’m very glad to be here exploring full stack development curriculum

hy, all

you can call me Chipp

i wanna learn more on programming, especially on C++, Python and SQL

but, why it seems like there’s no C++ and SQL section..?

there is for SQL and C#
C# https://www.freecodecamp.org/learn/foundational-c-sharp-with-microsoft/
SQL https://www.freecodecamp.org/learn/relational-databases-v9/

(Yeah no C++)
