Well Hello There!

Hey everybody!
You can call me Grips or Mido!

I am going through a change in my career, I work in real estate photography for a few years now. With a background in visual arts.

I always was intrigued with programming, did basic html stuff for a few mixed media projects, and now I am ready to jump into it FULLY!

My goal is to be able to learn the ins and outs of coding(right now Ive been learning C and HTML) and be able to work in the industry and have my photography and other visual media strictly for the art and not as a JOB  .

I got into contact with a Bootcamp in my city that’s starting next month so I’ve been going through cs50x and now FreeCodeCamp to have a nice feel for it.
Its crazy how much ressources there is!

Hopefully we get to meet and talk! Y’all seem very cool and welcoming !

Cool, welcome to the club.

Do you know what stack your Bootcamp teaches?

Hey thank you Kevin!
I am not too familiar with the stack term but its mostly web development.

Right, but I mean what techs - React, Angular, what is the backend, like node or ruby.

HI @Gripsx !

Welcome to the forum!

A technology stack is a combination of languages and frameworks, that work well together to build out applications.

An example of a popular stack taught at bootcamps would be the MERN stack.
MongoDB, Express, React, Node.

Here are other popular tech stacks
LAMP: Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP
MEAN: MongoDB, Express.js, AngularJS, and Node.js
MEVN: MongoDB, Express.js, Vue.js, and Node.js
