I saw https://codeable.io/ recommended on Reddit by a dev. He said it was pretty good. Wordpress work though.
Another FCCer mentioned https://www.apify.com/ here for small jobs.
Upwork definitely is not one of the best, but it’s there and some people make a side income from it.
toptal.com has several rounds of labor intense projects, and interviews too. But the pay is quite good there.
