It’s a set of videos, guides and projects.
The only thing you must do are the projects, once you do them you can have the certificate for that specific course. The tutorials, videos and guides are optional support to teach you how to do the aforementioned projects. It’s all free, just visit www.freecodecamp.com/map to see more about it.

fCC currently offers three certificates: Front End Development (html, css, JavaScript, JQuery), Data Visualization (React, SASS, D3), and Back End Development (Node.js, Express.JS, and MongoDB). Check them out at https://www.freecodecamp.com
