What is the difference between type="" and action="" ? They both seem to do the same thing

In action attribute of form element, should be path+name of php file who should handle your form data.
type in input field is telling your form element of what kind a data can expect to be in this field. They maybe seem to do same thing, but if you had valid path inside action attribute you’ll be getting error in your console.
