Hi @giftmoyo

Take a break and back to it. It is a tiny issue, you just need to read carefully the error message.
Happy coding!

Please post your actual code instead of a picture.

Thanks

Your anchor should only wrap part of that text.

Thank you for your response.

<a href="https://www.freecodecamp.org">No Copyright - freeCodeCamp.org</a>

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).

You should only have the freeCodeCamp.org text inside of the anchor.

when I put freeCodeCamp.org in the anchor the error message changes to, After nesting the anchor (a) element, the only p element content visible in the browser should be No Copyright - freeCodeCamp.org. Double check the text, spacing, or punctuation of both the p and nested anchor element.

What is your updated code?

You need to keep the rest of the text and the original p tags. Those just go outside of the anchor tags.

To put it another way, nothing that was there originally should be removed.

frrrrp

Kindly check the question the picture attached

No pictures. They are harder to read and I can’t copy the code out of the picture.

You need to put the anchor tags around only the text freeCodeCamp.org and leave the rest of the text alone.

Do not delete the text No Copyright -.

Only add the opening and closing anchor tags around freeCodeCamp.org

 <a href="https://www.freecodecamp.org">freeCodeCamp.org</a> No Copyright - freeCodeCamp.org

This is my latest code but its not passing as well.

You are adding a bunch of stuff you weren’t told to add.

  1. Reset the code

  2. Only add the opening and closing anchor tags around the text freeCodeCamp.org. Add nothing else.

I would reset the lesson because it looks like you are misunderstanding the exercise.

Take a close look at the starting code.

No Copyright - freeCodeCamp.org

They have already provided you with the text freeCodeCamp.org.

The challenge wants you to add an opening anchor tag in front of freeCodeCamp.org and a closing anchor tag after freeCodeCamp.org

If you are creating a new freeCodeCamp.org text then that is incorrect.

This is wrong

You see how you created your own freeCodeCamp.org text .
But the challenge doesn’t want you to do that.

Hope that clarifies!
