What programming language do computer science degrees teach

Isit still Java and C++?

Depends entirely on the degree, and it’s normally several, they’re used to illustrate concepts – it’s difficult to show functional concepts without using a functional language, it’s difficult to show logic programming concepts without using a logic language etc. The point of a CS degree shouldn’t be to teach a language

It depends on the program and the country.
In my country for example, In Engineering, you learn Java, SQL and C++, in Mathematics and Statistics faculty, they learn MATLAB and R.
In Economics you usually dont learn to code, you learn some old econometric oriented, packages like STATA.
