I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).

Is there a problem? When you lose the game, you call exit(0) - so you want the program to terminate. Maybe replit doesn’t expect an exit to happen and thus the process ends unexpectedly? I mean, you don’t call exit in case you win - the process just reaches the end, at which it would expect to “die”.

On a side note: that’s very bloated code.
For a start, these if-else-while could be tuned down to just a while-loops (at least some of them).
Then there is just a ton of code which is almost copy-pasted, apart from minor details.
This could be heavily trimmed down.

I recently started Computer Science and Coding as a GCSE subject, sorry for the bloated code.
