edit your question then click on the </> symbol on the top of the text input box. Highlight and copy the code you wish to display (no matter the platform) and paste it into the text box between the backticks. Hope this helps.
If you’re trying to prevent an HTML element from being select-able, then that can be done with CSS. I’m not sure what the current best method for doing this is, but I bet if you google something like “css, make element unselectable” you’ll get a ton of results.
