Why does the bullet points shift?

Tell us what’s happening:
When I closed the ending

it shifted the bullet points to the right, when it wasn’t there it stayed to the left.
Like the paragraph was beginning, can someone explain why this is happening - I love this course so far!

I’m not sure what you mean here. There was no closing p tag for you to add. And for some reason you deleted the opening p tag.

You were tasked with removing the last two p elements. That means you would remove the opening and closing p tags and any text between them.

This is the code that you did add

  <li> steak</li>
  <li> milk
<ul>

Note that you did not close the last list item or the unordered list.
