Why is bracket or dot method not used in this challenge?

Tell us what’s happening:
if i change result.arr[i] to arr[i] in the for loop inside the function the test is passed but why
cant i go on with the initial one should i not access the object result and its property by the bracket/. method

Because the result object doesn’t have a property named “arr”.
