Challenge: Add Images to Your Website

Link to the challenge:

Welcome, calvin.

You are close. But, I want to draw your attention to the syntax highlighting the editor provides:

<img src=''https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat''
alt=arelaxingcat.''>

Notice how something appears off?

Have a look at the example, one more time:

<img src="https://www.freecatphotoapp.com/your-image.jpg" alt="A business cat wearing a necktie.">

Hint: there is a difference between single quotes ', and double-quotes "

Hope this helps

Hi Calvin,
I have seen many people having trouble with the image the first time. Even my friend was having a problem with this challenge.
In your case, it is the problem with quotes like the moderator said. One good way to check whether your code is correct is looking at the Syntax Highlighting in the editor.
You have made mistakes in the quotes both in the src attribute and alt attribute.

You should remember that ' ' (2 inverted quotes) and " (a single inverted double quote) is different :grinning: Check this with your src attribute.

You have did the same mistake in alt and you have not given the left quote in the alt.

It’s just a minute mistake :grin:
