try a self closing tag. That extra > on the end of the url being white is a big red flag to me.
Just have the end be " />

The code works as is but for some reason just refreshing the page didn’t work. I had to navigate away from the page and come back and it worked for some reason?

Spent about 30 minutes trying to figure it out…

Try clearing your browser cache, it can make a website stay unchanged for a while.
