# Why the Backend Development and API's certification does not have any content?

i have almost completed my frontend course, now i want to backend but there isn’t any content under the Backend Development and API’s certification, does anyone know why ?

if it isn’t gonna come anytime soon, can anyone suggest from where i should learn backend ?

It’s not there because it isn’t ready yet. Looks like it’s estimated to be available in late 2026.

While you’re waiting for that, there’s some older stuff in the [archive](https://www.freecodecamp.org/learn/archive). It’s no longer updated, but it worth a try.

The first back end section covers [relational databases](https://www.freecodecamp.org/learn/relational-database/) and I’ve just double-checked - the course is working.
