# Wondering how long it took you guys to finish first certication

It took me about a month too 🙂 Consider that ideally it would take 300 hours, so I’d say that a month is not a bad time to accomplish it. Everyone learns at his/her own pace anyway, so don’t give it too much thought !

And good luck with JS, I had more hair when I started studying it 😃 !

it really depends on what is your starting point… some sections will take more hours than estimated and some sections will take less than estimated…

How did you receive the certificate? Do you just complete all the projects and than wait or did you have to contact the school?

nothing special about certificate, you just hit the button for claiming the certificate and they add the certificate to your profile… and that’s it…
