I have worked as a software developer for 21 years and saved up a considerable sum of money. Right now what I want to do is spend less time working. However, I am on a H1B visa in the USA and which means I can’t retire and have to do a full time job to stay in the USA. Is there any way I can go to some other country like the Caribbean and then there work for shorter hours remotely as a software developer?

You can check out sites like https://weworkremotely.com/ that have a lot of developer jobs that are remote only. Some of the posts there will specify a preferred time zone that they’d like you to be in.
