How can you serve a file from a GitHub repo with the appropriate Content-Type header?

I am trying to build the random quote machine, and built my own object of quotes to use stored here. I looked at a simple JSON§ tutorial which used the following code: $.getJSON("https://api.github.com/users/jeresig?callback=?", function(json){ console.log(json); }); And that works fine. I get the object in the console. But if I change the link to my object, the console is blank.
