What is the purpose of 'else if' statements?

It’s not super common to have a large list of if/elses, but you will see value in else as you go forward.

Just for a real-world example, I think that in my work project I see them the most when data may be missing/corrupted/invalid. If we have the data that we need, then we do various operations with it. Otherwise, we need to take some action to handle the missing data. It’s always going to be one or the other, so if/else. :slight_smile:
