Im a stay at home father currently looking to begin a career in software engineering.
I consider myself an intelligent individual, i was once enrolled in a class hoping to become a civil engineer when my mother unfortunately passed away, and i had a brother to support.
Without a consistent schedule and a child to take care of the prospect of paying to go back to a class and the uncertainty of being able to put the time in to study with due dates etc has turned me to software engineering.
asides from a brief internship and a class on javascript in which i remember next to nothing i have no experience but i do find that there is a degree of passion in this for me. I like the prospect that anyone with access to a keyboard can better their lives. I love that this is a passion and work driven field where a degree certainly helps, but in the end it comes down to how much you know about a given topic and that is amazing.
Anyways that’s enough about me i look foward to making some new friends and learning a thing or two along the way!
