I have worked the past 15 years as a Clinical Laboratory Technician. Science and technology have always been my passions. In 2004, I almost made the decision to go to college for a CS degree, but thought that would only get me into IT. Now that I know that many other tech possibilities are available, I want to pursue those.

I have focused more on the technology and problem solving aspects of the laboratory technology field than most techs do. Problems are what make my days interesting and prevent burnout. I am not compensated for my extra abilities in tech and feel it is time to embrase that full potential.
