Hi! My name is Lynda. I’m a non-traditional student to this as I am 52 and decided I need a life change. My bachelors degree is in Music Performance. I started a family basically out of college so I’ve spent the last 27 years focusing on everything but my own career.

Though I have freelanced and taught privately for almost 30 years, I’ve decided I need a change. I have always been drawn to computers, science, and math but never pursued it due to my commitment to music and later my family. Also, when I was coming up through HS computer science was pretty much a “guy” thing

I found FreeCodeCamp and am thrilled at the thought of making this dream come true. I am very new to all of this but I have the time and desire to learn what I need to know to hopefully get some work as a developer or a freelancer.

I have much respect for this field and hope to grow and improve.
