Hi! I’m Sofia Amalia Visintini, a 20-year-old taking my first steps in programming. It’s a new challenge, and since I have ADHD, I learn slowly and struggle with patience, but I know progress takes time.
Beyond programming, I enjoy listening to music in English and Italian and watching videos in English to learn new vocabulary. I also go to the gym three times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays). Since I study from home, I have time to organize my activities, prioritizing food, movement, and rest.
I believe in perseverance and discipline over motivation. Mindfulness helps me stay focused, and although I tend to procrastinate, I can make up for lost time quickly. It’s important to accept that we won’t always feel like doing things, but learning and evolving are key to life.
I also love literature, though I don’t read much—just 30 minutes a day. I keep a diary where I document my daily life, from my progress to small moments of gratitude. Writing helps me process emotions since I tend to be quiet and reserved due to past struggles.
I grew up in a complicated environment, but studying keeps me focused and motivated. My goal is to travel abroad and live peacefully, so I work hard every day to make it happen—regardless of what others say.
Thank you for reading! I shared something personal, but I wanted to express my experience.
