It works for me ^^ What problem you encountered?

.thick-green-border {
border-width: 10px;
border-style: solid;
border-color: green;
}

insted of this you can use it like:

.thick-green-border {
border: solid 10px green;
}

Your class is .thick-green-boarder, but you reference it as " smaller-image-thick-green-boarder.
